July 6, 1911 - November 2, 2004 Head of the English Department at Cudahy High School and English, Honors English, and Latin Teacher Dorothy W. Dick (nee Wellhausen) found peace on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, age 93 years. Mother of Gwendolyn (Donald) Wedor, Alan (Sherry) Dick, Bonnie Kuchera, Janet and Kevin Dick. Preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Ester Wellhausen; sons, Colin and James (Sue) Dick Jr.; grandsons, Luke Sikorski and Matthew Rice and son-in-law, James Kuchera. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, other family and friends. Dorothy was former member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Magna Cum Laude graduate of Marquette University and retired teacher and Head of the English Department at Cudahy High School. Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday 4-6PM. Funeral Service at 6PM. Private interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. The family would like to express appreciation to the staff at St. John's Manor in South Milwaukee for their care for Dorothy and to the residents for their companionship.
