Mark Elias Anello, age 22, died on Friday, May 25, 2007. He was born August 25, 1984, in Milwaukee, the son of Susan Elias and Robert Anello. Mark was a graduate of Cudahy High School. Mark was a creative, introspective and sensitive young man. A lover of music, Mark had a strong sense of the aesthetic. He was always gracious and thankful for kindnesses both small and large. In spite of his struggles, Mark lived as if his life were blessed.

Mark valued the friendships of a limited but tight circle of friends. His true heart friend was his sister, April. Mark is survived by his mother, Susan; his father, Robert; sister, April Anello; loving grandparents, Jane Elias and Emil and Jean Anello; former step-father, Tom McConnell; aunts and uncles, Jeanne Ann Hempel, Richard (Susan) Elias, Robert Elias, Robin (David) Booth, James (Jane) Anello and Michael Anello; and many cousins and friends.

Funeral Services for Mark will be Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church , 5701 Raymond Road, Madison. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Madison. Memorials in Mark's name may be gifted to Good Shepherd Food Pantry, 5701 Raymond Road, Madison, WI 53711.
