self-por·trait n. A pictorial or literary portrait of oneself, created by oneself. Take your self portrait! Be creative, be unusual, be ordinary. Take one once, or take one a day, every day if you want. Take it yourself by yourself, with a pet, with a group, in your favorite hang out, take it just of your shoe (as long as your foot's inside it), shoot a reflection of yourself in a window...whatever, whereever, take your photos and post them in the C.H.S. Alumni Photo Gallery's Self Portrait Album.
Rules
Information to include: your name (first or first and last), URL if applicable, date (month & year), location (where you took the picture - city, country, etc.), title and description. Tell us a story: Why you were there, who you were with, or how you were feeling. The file must be less than 1.9 MB. Or to put it another way, you will not be able to upload an image larger than 1.9 MB. Photographs greater than 600 pixels on the longest dimension will be resized in the album. However, clicking the image will show the larger image size. Images should be at least 100 x 120 or 120 x 100 pixels
Please don't add any text or graphics around or on your image. This includes single pixel keylines, frames or borders around the image and dates, copyright info or urls on top. Don't include multiple images within one image.
Photographs shouldn't be overly manipulated with filters and effects. What does that mean? A little dodging and burning to reveal an image is ok. Moving pixels around or adding or removing elements isn't. You want to crop? You go right ahead and crop like crazy, baby! Problems uploading? If you can't get your photo in the album, it's too big to post, or you're not sure how to upload it, e-mail it to me at
