Warner Bros. pays Crichton $3.5 million On this day in 1993, Warner Bros. strikes a deal with novelist Michael Crichton for film rights to his next novel, as yet unpublished but rumored to deal with sexual harassment. The deal was reported to be worth $3.5 million. The movie, Disclosure, was released in 1994. |
