Got a message from Melissa on MySpace and thought this looked pretty interesting. Nice work thus far. If you need any help with the forums, let me know. I work on these things all the time and if I'm seeing this right, you're using SMF.

Anyways, I graduated in 2001 and now live in Florida working as a company rep and a website administrator in my free time. Most of my family went to Cudahy High. I have a few cousins that graduated around the same time as some of you in the early 90's. I occasionly visit every other year, mostly for Summerfest.

Thanks Josh, that's awesome.  I definitely may be in need of help sometime; it's good to know there are other website people around.

Your dccombat.com website looks great...is that your doing?

I see you're playing Gears of War. It is one of my favorite games, ever. Especially 2 player.

Tell your family to join up too! I should be doing that as well; I've got a bunch of step-relatives from Cudahy, including one that graduated right around when you did. Roberta Santi, if you know her.

Thanks for the kudos about dccombat. The look of the site itself is not my doing. I do however maintain and create the forums. I'm also the Lead Admin for the competitions we run on there for Ghost Recon, Gears of War and Rainbow Six. A little bit more of my doing you can find at www.thedevilsadvocates.com. Its a Joomla site just like this one.

When I talk to some of my family back home I'll let them know about the site. 2 of my cousins that graduated in the early 90's were Ryan and Elliot Berry.

Between dccombat and thedevilsadvocate, it looks like you've got two really good sites going.  That forum on dccombat looks really busy and well organized. There's 113 people online there right now!

Ryan Berry was in my grade.  I don't think I knew Eliott at all, because he was a couple years younger than me.  Regardless, I was very sorry to hear of his passing; please accept my condolences.

Our record on DC is 241 users at once. We launched our competitions in August of 2005 and should soon reach 5,000 members in the next week or two. We now have also entered the Gaming Radio Show seen. Always trying to get the word out and hopefully soon will be able to do this full time.

And thank you for your condolences about Elliot and also for adding him into your In Memory Of section. That means a lot to see that.

That's so cool! I'm not personally into any competition stuff yet, as I only have a Silver account. I am going to break down and get a Gold account when DDR comes out (I know, kinda dumb, but I LOVE it.)  I hear that should be late February or March. Think you'll do competitions for DDR?  Smiley

If you need more online publicity, I *may* be able to help. I've got an affiliation with a group that has a game website -- it has reviews, editorials, cheats and that sort of stuff, so a good compliment to your sites.  I've just started helping them out, so I'm not sure how things all work with them yet, but you never know.  Google Ads can be a great inexpensive help too, if you guys aren't doing that yet.

And thank you for your condolences about Elliot and also for adding him into your In Memory Of section. That means a lot to see that.
You're very welcome. I only wish there was more I could say or do.

Gary Zambo,

My mom graduated in 1973, I'm sure you know her, Suzy Hoyt. She has organized a couple get togethers for your class in the last couple of years.  Smiley I will tell her about this website!!
