I escaped Cudahy for about 5 years. During that time I lived in a far away land known as South Milwaukee.  I always thought of it as Cudahy with a different ZIP code.  The gravitation event that is Cudahy pulled me back, and now I have been living in Cudahy for the past 5 years, again.

Hey Jason,

Didn't I record a record for your band at Ryan Schaffer's house?

Hi,

I understand that Robert Ripley once claimed that Cudahy had more bars per capita than any city in the world. Does anyone have data on that?

I visited Cudahy for the first time in 20 years in October, 2006. While there was many changes, it was good to see some of the old standards - Dretzka's, Vnuks, the old post office, Patrick Cudahy's statue - too bad he wasn't holding a Pabst can -

But the changes were just as dramatic.

Now that my nephew plays football for St. Francis, I will probably be visiting more often.

Left in 1991 and have only been back about once per year since. Now that my parents built a retirement house on Lake Winnebago, I might drive through when leaving the airport, but that's it.

I miss living in Cudahy....ok, I'm an Aussie, but my year at Cudahy...believe it or not...was the best ever!!!
I still love visiting, but now I'm back in Perth, West Australia, it's a bit too far!!!
So if anyone makes it to this part of the world.....give me a yell, would love to show alumni my part of the world Smiley

Hmmm. Haven't been back to Cudahy since 1998, just before I shipped out to Bosnia for a peacekeeping tour while in the Army. One of my sisters has been back and she said the city has gone down hill big time. I moved out of Cudahy back in 1985...the beginning of a long string of moves over the years.
