Hello everyone-
We have been getting a lot of responses to the e-mail address if you know of anyone that has not contacted us yet please have them do that at Cudahy89@yahoo.com, easier to communicate with everyone and it will keep our cost down in the postage.  We understand that there are some people without e-mail and the one's without an e-mail we will keep in contact through regular mail.
It has been great to hear that there is so much interest in the reunion it is going to be a lot of fun.  Keep up the great work in finding people from our class.

Great to see everyone getting excited about this.God, we are going to be 40 years old soon. Can you believe that?I have so many fond memories from hearing old songs or seing a movie from the 80's.I personally think the 80's was the best time to grow up.Hopefully this will be super successful and we can all talk about the good times we had as class of 89.Im available for any help needed to get this going.Just let me know when and where we will get together for planning.I think having a good old beacher for a get together with planning would be funny as hell!!!!! Starting to like more and more people are beginning to come out of the wood work for this event.

Ann and I have been emailing back and forth and it appears that no less the 48 of us have shown at least some interest in this historic event.

As Provan and I have been discussing it appears that the 10 year was not enough time away to get together.  Makes sense really if you think about it, people just getting done with college and or the military, then beginning their career or job field, to much going on at that time.  Now at least most of us have settled in, have kids and no longer any resemblance of a social life.  Now it is time for us to get back together, recall what it was like to have a life and to see what everyone else has done.

Hello everyone!
A beecher is really not a good idea unless we rent a a spot at a park. I believe I can get a discount being a county employee-Deputy Sheriff. I hope everyone is doing well and is in good health. Cant wait to see everyone. If we need to track people down let me know.
Take care......Kevin Johnson

I am not attempting to start an argument or anything but..............

I'll bite is there a reason that having the reunion at a site in which hotel accommodations were considered?  Considering a large number of our class no longer resides in Cudahy or the south side of Milwaukee this could pose challenges for those people.

Mike--that is a valid question, and one we knew would come up at some point. When planning a party of this size, you cannot please everyone. There is SO much enthusiasm for this event that hopefully the party size won't diminish because of the site choice.

I assure you the hotel option was researched. Our main goal is to get the highest attendance
level yet. We were worried that if the ticket price was too expensive, it would turn people off. We did not want cost to be a reason folks didn't attend. Hotels were very pricey.

On the other end, the picnic option seemed a bit casual for some people, and had uncontrollable variables~ weather.

There will be a block of rooms reserved for our reunion at a hotel. This will be determined later, and info emailed from the yahoo account. There is also the Sheridan House (old Fountain Blue) within walking (or in some cases stumbling) distance which has several nice rooms. They will be adding 6 more rooms by next August.

We chose to walk the middle line so to speak, and stuck with the nostalgia of Cudahy. Many expressed that since they do not get back to Cudahy too much, it would be nice to see it again during reunion weekend.

Looking forward to catching up with all of you NEXT summer!

Hey Kevin -
Followed updates of your brother's progress after he was hit by the car while on duty. So happy that it sounds like he's doing well. Kudos to you both for your service to our community.

There are plenty of hotels on howell ave . They are 3 miles at best from reunion location. Cab ride fee about $10.00.
That is if sheirdian hotel is full , which is unlikely.I will have cab numbers if any one needs a ride to hotel.

I think the reunion will be a blast no matter where it is.  We can also get together the night before at a local establishment.  If there is any help still needed just let me know.  I live in Oak Creek, but work at Cudahy Middle School.
