I just wanted to add that we have had a substantial response from many who have not yet emailed the yahoo account as well. This is really going to be a great gathering!

We are moving ahead with the planning for next year! There are some who don't have access to a computer (or having problems with their service), and cannot reply to the email, but have expressed enthusiasm for a reunion.

Anyone is welcome to contribute!

Thanks,
Ann

Great to see everyone getting excited about this.God, we are going to be 40 years old soon. Can you believe that?I have so many fond memories from hearing old songs or seing a movie from the 80's.I personally think the 80's was the best time to grow up.Hopefully this will be super successful and we can all talk about the good times we had as class of 89.Im available for any help needed to get this going.Just let me know when and where we will get together for planning.I think having a good old beacher for a get together with planning would be funny as hell!!!!! Hi everybody,
I've had a few e-conversations with Karey and Ann but this was my first chance to check out the website. Thanks to everyone for getting this ball rolling. If you need some help, I will do what I can. Event planning is part of my job at a non-profit organization so I may be able to provide some value. If you set up a planning meeting, let me know and I'll try to make it. (I still live in Cudahy.)
In response to an earlier question about where the event should be held, my vote would be for an area hotel. Pulaski Inn is fine but people may appreciate the ability to enjoy a few cocktails and not worry about driving home. And, if there are lots of people coming from out of town, it may be a more attractive option than staying in their old bedroom at mom and dad's....
I like the idea of having some form of entertainment. DJs are typically less expensive than a band and they can play a wider variety of music - spanning genres and generations.

Thanks again,
Vickie (Braden) Boneck

WOW,

Who would have ever guessed that we could actually plan something let alone something in advance?  This will give all generation X a black eye.

I thought that CC was out of his mind for suggesting a beacher. However the more I ponder this suggestion the more I like it, like it allot.  I sadly no longer reside in Cudahy, which means a long drive or racking up at the folk’s house. And being full figured I can no longer get our of my own way let alone if we had visitors to the thing. Perhaps we could meet still at the park or something although have it on top of the cliff?

My advice for a DJ is someone that plays strictly 80’s music.

Hello Everyone,
I have given the number of a dj to Karey and I know he has 80's music.  I think a beacher would be awesome, but now that we are responsible adults (well most of the time), can we do that?  I think there are laws against drinking on the beach.  I know back in the day...we broke them, but now we could get arrested and unlike my brother, I have never been in a jail cell.  I would really like to keep it that way.

Hello Everyone-

I am happy to see that this is all coming together and I encourage everyone to pass along the information to anyone you see from our class. I must clarify one of my postings to some, but the "beacher" idea was just a recollection of the great times in the past we all had and is Not being considered for a possible site for our 20th reunion. What is in the works is a location that works for everyone. Where that might be is yet to be determined, but to those who feel strongly about it, I guess I could bring a sandbox and put it in the corner and gladly join Vandy and Tom for a beer or 2 and talk about the old days.

Everyone have a great weekend and Happy Mothers Day to all of the Moms out there.

Reunion sounds great. I agree with Matt, not SM, not Joe's K and not a bowling alley. How about the park and a couple keggers!

Looking forward to seeing everyone again! I'm living in Maine now but would love to make a trip back. I agree with Vickie...a hotel might be more convenient for those of us coming from out of state but I'm flexible. Any ideas on possible dates yet? I vote for early July (selfishly because I would also love to go to Summerfest again :-)! Anyone else living in the Northeast now?
