According to the 1963 Milwaukee yellow pages there were 10 "Mom and Pop" grocery stores in the city of Cudahy at that time. There were also three larger chain stores - Kohl's on KK and Plankinton, Kroger at Packard Plaza, and National, which was at 3530 East Barnard, on the same block where the new public library is today.

My name is Hubie Krawczyk and I am a 1980 Graduate. We are hosting a multisport event this June and we want to make it an all out Cudahy jam! Below is more info on the event. A great 1st timers event, hook up with some Cudahy folks while you make the effort in town. Your participation will make the event.

Calling ALL Cudahy Alumni! On June 14th 2009 U.S. Athletic Events a Cudahy Non Profit Company is proud to announce The South Shore Duathlon to benefit the MACC Fund. A great first time event for anyone. The course is through Sheridan Park and along Lake Drive. The run course is 2 miles through Sheridan park and the Bike is 8 miles along Lake Drive and then you repeat the first run. We will have a post party after the event with announcements and awards, with Alumni years recognized. Hello everyone its Ray from class of 90 just wanted to see who was here.

Well I never thought I'd say this but this sounds like fun. I have talked to karey, I will be there. I see many old alumns everywhere and have been telling them so who has fliers, where can I get them, and this frickin south side will be posted, and anyone who is a hermit will know! and 'm not afraid to twist arms.
