Jim Pekar is from the class of 77 and played football.  you can reach him at Pekar's liquor store on Layton Ave.
Tim Curry is the class of 76 and lives in Hartford, and can be found on face book.
Bob Stewart lives on College Ave at the "T" of Illinois Ave.   I am sure all of these classmates can give much information.

I am looking for verification of the Cudahy HS football team being named the Peacocks. It would probably be in mid 1940's. I found one reference to the mascot being a peacock on a "Bury-the-hatchet" trophy designed by So. Milwaukee "Rockets" in 1946. Can anyone add to this information. What years was the team called "Peacocks"?

I have several news articles regarding the baseball, basketball and bowling teams being referred to as the Peacocks. I need the football team.
Thanks

Hello,
I did not go to Cudahy HS, however, I am the family historian and almost all of my ancestors that immigrated to USA, settled in Cudahy, Milwaukee, Carrollville, Oak Creek vicinity. Primarily in Cudahy. The family name is Wranik, originally spelled Vranik. Hoping to connect with descendants of these families or people who knew them. Anything that helps me get to "know" more about my family. There were two Vranik families that came to Cudahy - one changed the spelling to Wranik (my direct line). The other kept the original spelling. They are from the same ancestral village as my family, but only related through marriage. At least back to 1730's (I've done both family genealogies).

There is only one living relative from the first generation born in USA. He was the "baby" - John A Wranik, b. 1933 in Milwaukee.
Some of the Wranik children were "bad boys" so no one will offend me if they know of those stories. But some of them were terrific! My gf, Paul Wranik owned/managed a few bars, but he also tried to market a hand soap -  I think it was called "5 brothers" and it had a picture of a hand print on label. I have never seen it. If anyone knows where I could find this or sees it in a rummage sale somewhere, please think of me and possibly let me know of it. Thank you.

Thanks for any help you could provide. Please excuse my intrusion on your site - I truly mean no disrespect. Thank you.

My kids definitely missed her.  They attended her party at that time.  I think it's the most memorable school occasion that my kids have ever attended.

Only just found out about this a few minutes ago, but thought I would pass this along in case anyone is able to make it.  Tomorrow night at 7pm is a farewell concert for Larry Tresp, the Cudahy High School Orchestra teacher.  There will be a reception to follow.  There's a facebook page that you can use to RSVP or post other messages/thoughts.
