These are a few quotes from unknown sources that seemed good to share as the holiday season approaches...
If all your dreams don't come true, don't fret; all your nightmares don't, either.
Don't let your welcome mat lie.
If you aren't wearing a smile, you're only half dressed.
Actions speak louder than bumper stickers.
Joy shared is joy doubled; sorrow shared is sorrow halved.
Worry is like a rocking chair; it gives you something to do but doesn't get you anywhere.
Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.
Some people miss their shares of happiness because they didn't stop to enjoy them.
People don't have to attend every argument that they get invited to.
We should all swap problems; everyone knows how to solve the other person's.
Happy Thanksgiving!

According to the 1963 Milwaukee yellow pages there were 10 "Mom and Pop" grocery stores in the city of Cudahy at that time. There were also three larger chain stores - Kohl's on KK and Plankinton, Kroger at Packard Plaza, and National, which was at 3530 East Barnard, on the same block where the new public library is today.

I've worked in technology for twenty years, but when it came to getting set up on this system I needed help right away. Computer wizard or not, there's always a username or password just waiting for the chance to trip us and watch us fall. ** Speaking of "technology", IBM's IMS database utility (Information Management System) first signed in in 1968, and while numerous "tweaks" have been necessary over the years, this old workhorse is still running strong and has been one of the most impressively versatile developments of the entire computer age. It's true - IMS is forty years old and still chugging along. Anyway, this is my first posting on here and I just thought I'd mention it. Having worked in IMS environments I feel kind of proud of how long it has lasted.
